- For Parents/Teachers: They are great hands-on experiments to teach children--from ages 6 up --the earth sciences and properties of chemistry and biology. Each kit comes with everything you'll need, from the actual experiment (fossils, geodes, or gems) to the materials you'll need to complete the experiment (tools, "adventure guide," safety goggles, or even a UV lamp).
Kids: THEY'RE FUN! While most are listed as 6+, any of these experiments would be entertaining and educational for kids up through middle school. And the best part? After the learning is done, you get to keep some pretty cool souvenirs...real fossils, geodes, gems, glow-in-the-dark "glow rocks," amber, and shark teeth!
